Arriving in a foreign country without a firm grasp of the language posed my initial leadership challenge. I chose to view this as a chance to cultivate non-verbal communication skills, essential for grasping psychological nuances. Working as an au pair, my days were long and often tedious. Yet, it was in these seemingly ordinary moments that I unearthed the core of leadership: the ability to connect beyond words, fostering empathy and trust across cultural boundaries.

Learning Through Experience: A Different Education

With traditional education out of reach initially, I forged my own path. Evening classes became my personal university, where I diligently learned English from the ground up. Eventually, I entered university, juggling studies and two jobs in a whirlwind of activity.
