Glenn Ginsburg is the President of QYOU Media, Inc., a recognized leader in entertainment, media, and marketing. QYOU's client list includes major companies like Universal Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and DreamWorks, among others. Under Ginsburg's guidance, QYOU Media has emerged as a key player in brand engagement on TikTok. His responsibilities encompass influencer partnerships, content creation, and social media management, as well as fostering new relationships with clients and talent.
Thank you for joining us, Glenn! To start off, could you share a bit about your journey and what led you to this point in your career?
Before joining QYOU, I held positions at major entertainment companies like The Walt Disney Company, Universal, and Viacom/Paramount. At Viacom, I played a significant role in launching Comedy Central's Interactive Sales division, a milestone I'm particularly proud of. My career has spanned nearly two decades in digital, social, and convergence media, where I've focused on developing new business opportunities and partnerships.
I became part of QYOU as an SVP in 2015, and I helped elevate the North American division to a flagship status within the organization before becoming President of U.S. operations in 2021.
Section 1.1: Memorable Moments in Your Career
Can you share a funny or interesting experience from your career?
While at Comedy Central, I had the chance to attend a spectacular 13th-anniversary celebration for "South Park," hosted by its creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The event was filled with celebrities, live performances — including Morris Day and The Time — and stunning ice sculptures of the characters. It was a remarkable celebration of creativity.
Another cherished memory comes from my first entrepreneurial venture, Visionary Media. We started in a cramped space, and at our peak, I would walk down Broadway in Manhattan, seeing our ads on massive billboards, in phone booths, and even in Times Square. It was an exhilarating experience.

How have you leveraged your success to make a positive impact?
Entertainment holds a significant influence on society. It reflects cultural shifts and shapes public perceptions. Works like "Bob Marley: One Love" can spark conversations and inspire social change. In today's digital landscape, content has the potential to motivate audiences like never before, serving as a medium for cultural diplomacy and fostering mutual understanding.
Chapter 2: Advice for Aspiring Influencers
Many dream of a career like yours but may feel discouraged. What advice would you give them?
Persistence is key! Everyone experiences highs and lows; discover your niche and keep pushing forward. I also recommend reading "Do the Work" by Steven Pressfield to identify and overcome obstacles that may be hindering your progress.
Have any mentors or individuals significantly influenced your journey?
I’ve been fortunate to have many mentors throughout my career, from previous bosses who provided valuable guidance to loved ones who supported me during tough times. My daughter also inspires me daily to strive for my best self.

What exciting projects have you worked on recently, and how do you believe they benefit others?
We recently wrapped up a collaboration with Warner Bros. that took the "WONKA" project to new heights, achieving impressive engagement rates across 43 content pieces. Chocolatier Amaury Guichon was a key figure in the campaign, which garnered over 216 million views. It was a truly rewarding experience!
Looking ahead, we have exciting campaigns in the works for Hulu, Ubisoft, Paramount, Universal, and Warner Bros. The Creator Economy has a unique ability to connect content with audiences, and we continually seek innovative ways to reach new viewers through influencers.

What are your top five recommendations for influencers looking to monetize their brand?
- Brand Integrations: Work with brands to create sponsored content that promotes products to your audience, often resulting in financial compensation. Collaborating with an agency like QYOU can provide tailored content direction and strategic support to align with brand goals.
- Affiliate Marketing: Share personalized links or discount codes with your audience, earning a commission for each sale made through those links.
- Product Sales: Creators can sell their own branded merchandise, digital products, or exclusive content subscriptions.
- Brand Partnerships: Establish long-term partnerships or ambassador roles with brands, earning compensation or perks in exchange for representation.
- Ad Revenue: Generate income through ads on platforms like YouTube, sponsored posts, or website banner ads based on views and clicks.
